How to buy from G-Marts?

To place an order on g-marts.com, Kindly follow the steps below:

1- Log in to your g-marts.com account using your registered email address and password. If you do not have an account yet, click here to register on g-marts.com.

2- Search for the product you want to purchase.

3- Check the product details, images, specifications, videos, and customer reviews. Choose the item and click on Add to Cart.

4- Review the product details and click on Proceed to Checkout.

5- Fill in your shipping address.

6- Review the address, shipping services selected and delivery period.

7- Select the payment method and complete your purchase by clicking on Place Order.

8- You will be provided with an order number along with an order tracking link for you to track your order.

How to View My Orders?

To view your orders:

1. Log in to your g-marts.com account using your registered email address and password.
2. Click on your name displaying on top right-hand corner of the page.
3. Click the My Orders tab. By default, all orders you have placed in the last 6 months will be displayed.

Missing items from my order

If you have received an incomplete product or order with missing items or quantity, please thoroughly check the delivery package for the missing item or product or part product. If still not found, you can return the affected product(s) for a refund, using the following process:

1. Log in to your g-marts.com account using your registered email address and password.

2. Click on your name displayed on the top right-hand corner of the page.

3. Click On My Order from the drop-down menu.

4. Locate the item you want to return.

5. Click on Return against the item you want to return.

6. Select the checkbox corresponding to the item you wish to return, choose the reason for the return as Received missing accessories or parts from the drop-down menu and add notes in the box stating explicitly which parts or part is missing.

7. Click Complete Return.

Note: Ensure to provide as much information as possible before completing the return as the product you return will be assessed and validated for refund, before it is accepted for a refund. If the stated issue is not found in the product you return, the product will be sent back to you and your claim for a refund will be rejected.

I got a "Not as Described" or "Poor Quality" item

If you have received a product in used condition, not as described on the g-marts.com website or which is of poor quality, you can request to return the product for a refund within 14 days of its delivery, following the steps mentioned below:

1. Log in to your g-marts.com account using your registered email address and password.

2. Click on your name displayed on the top right-hand corner of the page.

3. Click on My Orders from the drop down menu.

4. Locate the order you want to return.

5. Click on Return against the item you want to return.

6. Select the checkbox against the item you wish to return and choose one of the following reasons for return from the drop-down menu:
· Received used or package already open, not as new for used item;
· Not as described, different from picture or description for not as described item; or
· I did not like the item and I do not want it anymore for poor quality item.

7. Add notes in the box stating details about the reason for return and click on Complete Return.

Note: Ensure to provide as much information as possible before completing the return as the product you return will be assessed and validated, before it is accepted for a refund. If the stated issue is not found in the product you returned, the item will be sent back to you and your claim for a refund will be rejected.

I got a counterfeit item

If you believe you have received a counterfeit product, subject to return in accordance with g-marts.com’s returns policy of the affected product to us within 30 days of its delivery and satisfaction of our assessment and validation process, you will be entitled to receive a full refund of the price paid for the product, along with any shipping fees applied.

If the 30-days return window has expired, please contact our Customer Service for assistance.

Note: All items which are returned will be assessed and validated before they are accepted for a refund. If the stated issue is not found in the product you return, or if you return a product otherwise not eligible for a refund as listed in g-marts.com’s return policy, the product will be sent back to you and your claim for a refund will be rejected.

Amending or cancelling an order

You have the right to amend or cancel your order within 7 business days from the date of your order confirmation unless i your order has been already shipped, ii the product you bought was specifically imported for you or the product you bought was specifically manufactured for you. You can cancel your order or item online only before it enters the shipping phase. The option to cancel an order or item will cease to appear when the shipment has entered the shipping phase.

You may be able to cancel the order until it is not confirmed. Please visit My orders section and select the order you want to cancel. Click on the button “Cancel” next to the order to cancel it. If you don’t see the button and you still wish to cancel, please send us an email.

Where is my order?

Your order will be delivered by the expected date specified on your order. The expected delivery date is the date on or before which you can reasonably expect the item to arrive at your preferred shipping address.
You’ll see an expected delivery date for each shipment on the order summary, just before you place your order. The expected delivery date will also appear in My Orders section of your account after you’ve placed your order.

To view the estimated delivery date for your order, do the following:

1. Log in to g-marts.com account using your registered email address and password.

2. Click on your name displayed on the top right-hand corner of the page.

3. Click on My Orders.

4. Locate your order. The screen will show you the orders placed in last 6 months by default.

5. Expected delivery date shall be displayed below the Order details tab.

Note: If your order however has not arrived on or before the expected delivery date at your preferred shipping address, please get in touch with Customer Service team for further assistance.

Tracking your shipment

Tracking your shipment is very easy on g-marts.com. You can use the link sent to you via email on your registered email address to track where your order currently is. Additionally, you can also login to your g-marts.com account to track your orders as follows:

  1. Log in to g-marts.com account using your registered email address and password.
  2. Click on your name displayed on the top right-hand corner of the page.
  3. Click on My Order from the drop down menu.
  4. The screen will show you the orders placed in last 6 months by default.
  5. Locate your order on the screen.
  6. Click on Track Shipment against the shipment you want to know the status of.
  7. The pop-up screen will show where the order currently is along with a shipment tracking number for your reference.

Why I got multiple shipments for same order?

When you purchase products from different sellers in an order, each seller will have a separate shipment and the product or products from each seller will be delivered to you separately. If you want to have all of the items shipped in one shipment, you will have to place the order for all items from the same seller.

You can view the seller’s name on the right hand corner of the product page against the tab Sold by.

I was charged extra shipping charges

G-Marts does not charge customers any extra shipping charges. All applicable charges are mentioned in the invoice. Please make sure to check the item price plus the shipping charges at the checkout page before completing your purchase.

If the courier representative demands or has charged you more than the amount mentioned on your order invoice, please contact Customer Service immediately for assistance.

Note: Orders of items sold by different marketplace sellers might have multiple shipping charges. Each marketplace seller charges separate shipping fee based on the item(s) and the delivery address.

You can view the seller’s name on the right hand corner of the product page against the tab Sold by.

Shipping & Delivery

We deliver all across the country except certain rural areas which are out of coverage. Our courier company delivers orders during working hours from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Saturday.

Shipping fees depend on the total quantity of items, weight and shipping speed selected. We will provide you the exact shipping cost upon check out.

For out of coverage areas, customers will be required to collect their orders from the nearest courier hub within the city.

To determine the applicable shipping rate for items in your Shopping Cart:

  1. Select Proceed to Checkout.
  2. Select or add your shipping address.
  3. Select a shipping speed and select Continue.
  4. Select a payment method.
  5. The total shipping cost will be listed under the Order Summary displayed on the right-hand side of the page.

We won’t refund delivery costs in the event of service interruptions or failures caused by events beyond our control.

Your payment card must be successfully charged before the deadline displayed on the item’s product information page and in the checkout.

G-Marts reserves the right to change or discontinue any delivery option at our discretion.

Limitation of Liability

G-Marts will not be liable for any other loss or damage, including without limitation any consequential loss or damage (for example, should you purchase the products at a higher price from another retailer) arising out of or in connection with the fact that was not delivered on time. This limitation of liability applies in addition to any provision set out in any terms and conditions on G-Marts website.

Is it safe to receive orders?

We always prioritize the safety of our customers and our delivery associates. We will continue to deliver only where it is safe to do so. For guidance on COVID-19, please refer to the World Health Organization .

Returns Policy

You may return items received as damaged, defective, not suitable for use and not as described on the website to us within 30-days of its delivery.

If you are not happy with an item or if you change your mind after the delivery of the item, you can return it for a refund within 14 days of its delivery except:

  • Products that are opened, used, not in their original packaging, or otherwise not in the condition they were received in.
  • Any product missing the serial number or (UPC) Universal Product Code (a 12 digit bar code used for retail packaging)
  • Downloadable software products.
  • Books, newspapers and magazines.
  • Software, video games and CDs.
  • Goods with short expiry dates.
  • Products that cannot be returned for hygiene or safety reasons, including:
    1. Certain grocery products.
    2. Certain household cleaning and personal care products.
    3. Certain cosmetics and beauty care products.
    4. Certain electronic personal care products.
    5. Innerwear, lingerie, socks, hosiery and swimwear.
    6. Pet food and similar products.

We will assess and validate all the returned items before we process a refund. If we cannot find the reason stated for the return or if the item is not eligible for return, we will send the item back to you and no refund is given.

Returns FAQs

Q: I received a defective/damaged item. Can I get a refund?

If the item you received is damaged or defective, you can return it in the same condition as received with the original box and/or packaging intact within 30 days from the date of receiving it. Once we receive the returned item, we will assess it and if found to be defective or damaged, we will process the refund.

 Q: I received a wrong item. How can I return it?

To return a product you have purchased:

1. Log in to your g-marts.com account and click on your name displayed on the top right-hand corner of the page.
2. Click on My Orders from the drop-down menu.
3. Locate the order you want to return and click on Return Item against the product you want to return.
4. Select the checkbox against the product you wish to return, choose the reason for the return from drop-down menu, and add notes in the box stating the reason for the return and click on Complete Return.

Q: When are ‘Returns’ not possible?

There are a few certain scenarios where it is difficult for us to support returns:

  • Return request is made outside the specified time frame, of 14 days from delivery, or 30 days for defective items.
  • Items is used, damaged, or is not in the same condition as you received it.
  • Specific categories like innerwear, lingerie, socks, cosmetics and clothing freebies etc.
  • Defective items that are covered under the manufacturer’s warranty.
  • Any consumable item, which has been used or installed.
  • Items with tampered or missing serial numbers.
  • Anything missing from the package you received including price tags, labels, original packing, freebies, and accessories.
  • Fragile items, hygiene related items.

Q: I have changed my mind; can I return what I have bought?

If you change your mind before receiving your item, you may call us to cancel your order and we will process the refund along with any shipping fees applied. If you wish to return the item after receiving it, you have 14 days to return them, keeping the below rules in mind:

  • The item is not part of the Non-Returnable list.
  • You cannot return Clearance Items clearly marked as non-returnable and displaying a No-Return Policy.
  • Only items with ‘Retail Packaging’ never opened (Sealed/Closed Box) and with its Original Seal can be returned.

Q: Can I return Clothing & Fashion accessories?        

You can return any Clothing item or Fashion accessory within 14 days in the same condition you received and in the original box and/or packaging intact, as long as the item is:

  • The item is not part of the Non-Returnable list.
  • You cannot return Clearance Items clearly marked as non-returnable and displaying a No-Return Policy.
  • Items are in the same condition as received and with the original packaging box and tags attached

Q: How long does it take the courier to collect the returned items?

Our courier representative will contact you within 4 business days.

Q: Can I schedule time with the courier to return an item?

Currently, you will not be able to contact the courier company directly. However, once our courier representative contacts you to schedule the time for the pick-up of a return item, you may provide your preferred timings to them or please contact us to reschedule the pickup with the shipping company for you.

Q: Can I return my item after 14 days?

There may be situations in which you were not able to return items within the 14 days, in such cases please contact our Customer Service to file a complaint. We handle complaints on a case-by-case basis. However, all acceptable returns as per Consumer Protection Laws will honor the outlined duration.

Q:  How can I receive a refund for the returned item?

After we receive your item, it can take up to 2 weeks for us to inspect it and process your return.

Credit and debit cards

If you paid using a credit or debit card, the amount will be refunded to your card. Refunds can take 10-15 business days to be processed by your bank once issued.

Cash on delivery

If you paid using cash on delivery, the amount will be refunded in the form of g-marts.com credit, and will be credited to your Souq.com wallet once we have completed inspecting the item. You can use your g-marts.com account balance to make new purchases on g-marts.com, or simply transfer the credit balance to your personal bank account. For security purposes, the name of the bank account holder must match the name associated with your g-marts.com account.

Shipping charges

Shipping charges will only be refunded for defective and damaged items, and items you didn’t order.  We will not charge you for return shipping.

Return Items You Ordered

To return a product you have purchased:

1. Login to your g-marts.com account and click on your name displayed on the top right-hand corner of the page.

2. Click on My Orders from the menu.

3. Locate the order you want to return and click on Return Item.

4. Select the checkbox against the product you wish to return, choose the reason for the return from drop-down menu, and add notes in the box stating the reason for the return and click on Complete Return.

Note: Provide as much information as possible before completing your return as the product you return will be assessed and validated, before it is accepted for a refund.

A pick-up will be scheduled by one of our couriers within 4 business days. After we receive your item, it can take up to 2 weeks for us to inspect it and process your return.

Note:  Timings given exclude Sundays, Saturdays and Public holidays / Sundays and Public holidays for shipping company.

If you want to reschedule the pick up or change the pickup address or phone number, please contact us. If the  courier calls you on your registered phone number asking to pick up the item and you wish to reschedule, you can inform the courier.
Before returning any electronic devices that have your personal data stored, remove any passwords or security features, accessories (Memory card, cover, etc.) from the device.

About Refunds

The refund method depends on the payment method you used when you purchased the item.

For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, we will process the refund to your G-marts Account balance. You can use the amount to make new purchases on g-marts.com or simply transfer it to your personal bank account.

Warranty and Repairs

Not all items available on g-marts.com are covered by warranty. If applicable, warranty related information would be displayed against Seller Note on the product details page.

Accepted Payment Methods

g-marts.com accepts payment by credit and debit cards (Visa and MasterCard) via Paypal & Cash on Delivery (COD).

My credit card was charged but the order was not placed

If your credit card was charged while purchasing on g-marts.com without receiving order confirmation, view your g-marts.com account summary to find out if the order amount has been deposited as g-marts.com account balance.

To view your account summary:
1. Log in to your g-marts.com account using your registered email address and password.
2. Click on your name displayed on the top right-hand corner of the page.
3. Click on Account Summary.
4. If the order amount has been deposited as g-marts.com account balance, it will show in Available section as g-marts.com Account balance.

G-marts Account balance can be used to:
1. Make a purchase for less than or equal to the available G-marts Account balance: If the total amount of your new purchase including the shipping charges is less than or equal to your available balance, the system will advise you that there is enough balance in your G-marts Account. You will then need to click on “Place Order” and the amount for your new purchase will be deducted from your available balance.
B. Make a purchase for more than the available G-marts Account balance: If the total amount of your new purchase including the shipping charges is more than your available G-marts Account balance, you will need to choose an online payment method (credit/debit card) to pay the difference. The system will then deduct the available amount from your Account balance and the remaining outstanding amount will be charged to your credit/debit card. If your chosen payment method is cash on delivery, the full amount will need to be paid to the courier and no amount will be taken from your G-marts Account balance.

Note: If you do not want to utilize the funds from G-marts Account balance, contact Customer Service for assistance.

Wrong charges

To verify whether you have been charged more than the actual order value:

1.    Log in to your g-marts.com account using your registered email address and password.
2.    Click on your name displayed on top right-hand corner of the page.
3.    Click on My Orders.
4.    Locate the order in respect of which you have been potentially excessively charged.
5.    Verify the total order value as it appears on the order.
6.    If the total order value does not match with the amount charged, contact Customer Support immediately for assistance.

How to know about upcoming promotions and offers?

You can subscribe to receive information about upcoming promotions and offers on g-marts.com and also control the way these notifications are sent to you. to subscribe and define your preferences:

1. Log in to your g-marts.com account using your registered email address and password.

2. Click on your name displayed on the top right-hand corner of the page.

3. Click on Account Settings.

4. Click on Edit against Communication and Notification Settings.

5. Choose the notifications you want to receive.

6. Choose how you would like to receive the notifications (via email or push notifications).

Note: You can change your notification preferences at any time and the changes will take effect within 24 hours of you making the change.

About Coupon Codes

Coupon codes are promotional codes that can be used on g-marts.com to obtain a discount on your purchase. These coupon codes can be issued by g-marts.com or by its partners to be used on g-marts.com, subject to their terms of issue.

Coupon codes are non-transferable and there is no cash alternative. They cannot be used in conjunction with any other coupon code or offer, and must be redeemed by the date published, if provided. g-marts.com has the right to end the validity of any coupon code at any time, for any reason.

Valid coupon codes can be redeemed on the g-marts.com website and the g-marts.com iOS/Android mobile application.

To redeem a coupon code on the website/our applications, follow the steps below:

1. Add the item to your shopping cart.
2. Click On Add Coupon and Enter Coupon Code.
3. Click Apply to apply the coupon code.

The Discount is Not Applied

g-marts.com keeps running different promotions on its website and mobile applications where you can benefit from discounts being offered on a wide variety of items. On the basis of the relevant promotion, the discount may be applied automatically or a coupon code may have to be used to avail of the discount. To redeem a promotion, ensure to follow the deal instructions or go to the relevant promotion’s Terms and Conditions.

You can verify that a promotion code was successfully applied by reviewing your Order Confirmation e-mail or by logging in to your account.
